Plot[]

Artemis Fowl attempts to sell the C-cube, a supercomputer to American bussinessman Jon Spiro. Spiro heists the cube and in the incident mortally injures Butler. Artemis learns Butler's first name is Domovoi and puts him in a fish freezer until he can get him to a cryogenics lab.

Meanwhile, Captain Holly Short is transporting 3 goblins in a fast food van along with Trouble Kelp's annoying younger brother Grub Kelp when lockdown gets innitiated . Foaly announces that someone knows of the people and Holly is shot to Stonehenge . She is then called over to a cryogenics lab to check out a call involving fairy keywords. Se finds Artemis and in the process heals Butler , but that costs him 15 years of his life.

Back in Chicago Spiro can't crack the eternity code so he sends metal man Loafers Maguire and monkey Mo Digence to capture Artemis . Luckily Mo is really Mulch Diggums and Loafers is defeated by Juliet Butler.

The group gets together talking with Commander Root as he talks onscreen . Root says that Juliet,Butler and Artemis must submit to mindwipes .

Against Root's will Foaly helps them on the siege on the Spiro Needle to regain the C-cube.

At the end Artemis reveals to Holly how he will regain his memories after the mindwipe.
